9MW Diesel Generator Power Station for EMPOWER

Consultants EDS in London working for EMPOWER part of a goverment funded project to build a trial generator station consisting of 3 diesel engine generator sheds, 11kV switch room, control room, fuel treatment, filtration and all auxiliary plant for a fully operational power station built in Colchester and then dismantled to ship to the African states to provide an electricity system grid network to link with additional sets. Manex was responsible for all the electrical installation wiring, containment and electrical testing on site to a tight project time scale. This was a high specification job with a high emphasis on technical documentation accuracy.
